Ok fine, the frames can crack, but by that reasoning I should just get a fully so my chain stays don't fall off either.

No, but aluminum frames and rigids aren't recommended, as well this a2c isn't recommended and will void your warranty.

The warranty says nothing about what type of fork you should run...nothing at all. And recommended by whom, people on pinkbike or manufacturers who have presumably done some sort of analysis?
