a friend of mine had one a few years back.. black, very shiny.. it had babies like this one and ended up eating most of them

Yeah man, you have to separate them once the babies moult, otherwise she eats them & they eat each other.

I've been waiting & saving for it for so long now I can't wait anymore haha It's cheaper than I expected, so I'll use that thought to keep making myself feel better haha

Not sure, the D700 has been out for years & has hardly dropped here, so I'm leaning toward the fact that it'll stay pretty much the same for quite a while unfortunately.
