be carefull with those far out welds, a friend rode his fit hawk welded 4 inches from the HT on the downtube and he snapped it right off, snapped at the weld, and snapped at the seat tube/top tube

If I were you, I'd have the whole TT removed and a new one welded on. That weld looks really messy.

lol, It is. Thats why I'm trying to get it rewelded. I actually considered the TT idea, but I don't know if its worth it..

My dad has a few good buddys who are professional welders, If he can get it done really good then maybe, just to try it out.
