I asked my lbs today he said it should. But some frames may be too tight. He told me to bring it in and he has an old messed up one we could use to test fit it
okay cool, because I was thinking of making a deal with my parents that if they but me a new brake I would run one, since my current one weighs a ton and barely stops
Depends what you like, when I used one I loved it for learning park skills but hated it for street. Grinds are so much smoother without brakes IMO Everything flows better and you just learn to watch your speed.
yeah there a lot of better ledges in town, but I live outside of town so rather than bike 30mins to town I just when down to the playground for an hour because its only 2or3mins away
well today will be the first time I run the full peg/brake setup. so it should be interesting .My riding had gotten really aggressive once found I could stop again yesterday testing the brake system Brake less helps you commit . But once you learn to commit going back to brakes adds to your advancement . Also if you feel like it they can always come off
I put my brake on and learnt to flow around quarters and spines and generally learn how to air, now I've learnt that I just hit it with more speed going brakeless and go much higher
I was considering a cap since the first time I saw one. The only thing that held me from getting was the u brake. But I rode brake less till I found a good one. I love this setup. Don't think I will ever want another frame. The next frame will surely be a cap too
You will like it . If BMX feels too small and 26 feels too big this is perfect . Handling similar to a 20" and speed close to a 26" I like 26 for DH and slope but 24 is my favorite in the street and park
Yea sounds ideal. Plus a brand new skatepark is opening literally 5 mins away from my house! Plus there is a smallish outdoor skatepark about 10mins away which is due to be expanded next year! so it could all fit into place! Haha.
if you are use to bmx the cap is a blast in a skate park. Most that are not fans of the cap ride more mtb based frames so they do not have the skill set to excel with the frame. But you would not believe the things my mates do on this thing.
Yeah I can imagine. I also imagine it will feel very stable with a longer length (in general) and having bigger wheels. I reckon I could die a 26" but 24" just seems to me that bit more playful. I am presuming a lot of this but based on what I do know and read it seems to make sense. I'm a big fan of front brakes too so I am considering putting a U brake on the front. I know some will den this un-cool but hey-ho!
pegs or the brake ? I know I had to put the brake back on. Two reasons. Hews won't teach me more about grinding till I had brakes and two. Flash said this year no one without brakes can ride he trails period .. But its temp. goin back the BL once training is done haha
