Hard to tell, but graphically is anything different from the 2012 831?

as far as i know no, i beleve that they made some adjustments to the internals

That's too bad. I feel like they had a chance to change the graphics and make the new forks more unique, but I guess not.

I agree, they could have made some differences to give them a bit of a new look for 2013. They probably will do next year.

There's a possibility that they will release new graphics around the end of the year, for Interbike and such.
