How did you lower the 2013? Did you put an older cartridge in?

you can lower 2013's. The 2014's have the newer air spring

95% sure the 2013 is the same to lower as previous models

Google rockshox turncoat, it is essentially a top cap on the top and bottom of the steer tube with a rod connecting them that replaces the starnut and routes the front brake cable nicely through the fork.
