Trans paint is so thin it comes off really easily. The dropouts were a bitch though.

my paint was so thick haha. took a before scale shot too, will probably lose close to an ounce id say. i used a stiff toothbrush and poly-strippa and it came off like nothing, plus left no scratches or scuffs what so ever

Same here. The welds have absolutely no paint on them. I just usdd an old plastic tyre lever as a scraper.

fair enough. mine has a really cool gold tinge to it. a lot like the superco frames. maybe mine was heat treated

Yeah im going silver spokes all round to keep the chrome thing going throughout the whole bike. New spokes and maybe rim on the back.
