Funny story. The night before, I was like, "I've come across Lee's report of Mist Ridge, maybe I should read that." The next day, I got to the end of the old exploration road, and started down that trail that traverses on the west side of Mist ridge (aka the one you did), but it was not on my topo map and I wasn't sure where it went so I bailed. I wanted to do the Burke hike-a-bike in the afternoon and the plan was not to die stumbling around in the dark so I pulled the plug.

I had so much fun the first time I did this (see some pics from earlier this year); unfortunately that ride remains unequaled.

 Its so cool to see so many other people into this kind of stuff. I love this kind of riding
