I've waited about 8 months to get a set as they've been out of stock for so long over here. Super stoked when they were available again. What you just suggested, I was actually doing that with my previous pedals, but I'll try them out first and see how they go.

 That's a long wait but woth it, imo. I tried them with the stock pins and felt that I needed a bit more grip for both DH and trail. The long pins still allow you to move your foot if need be but also provide excellent grip. Helps you move the bike around too.

 Well I've had a couple of rides on them now, and the grip seems to be about the right level for me. I'll just have to see over a longer period if I get any problems with grip.

 Nice, glad you're liking them. I thought the grip was ok on the trail bike but needed more for DH. Then after I switched the pins on the DH bike, I needed to do it for the trail bike too.
