2 pulleys are doing three things --

1. got rid of the speed wobble created using only one pulley

2. super easy set up --- just turn cage to one side, slip the cable through and rest it on line --- pulleys are deep enough, they aren't going to slip off the cable --- even it does, it can't fall to the ground.

3. having the pulleys close to each reduces the tilt you see when the cage is on the high side of the zip line.

and some pimp green training wheel arms! I like this one better... Look like it will work great. Have you looked in 550 cord yet?

If not check it out. I think it would be the perfect solution for the cable. It has minimal stretch (if any at all), super light weight, and not to bad price wise.

that green stuff you got me should do just fine --- l think l found the max length it can handle too. that line we tried to string was about 20/30 feet too long.

l'm sure that 550 cord will do great but, major cha-ching for the amounts we're looking at.

eventually, l'll thinking about trying to create an easy way to hang the same cable at different location.

i.e. --- hammer a ladder onto the trees we're using, tappin' some sorta hanger - hook, etc so the cables are out there 24/7. just hang em as needed, clear some of the money shots breaking it all down after we shoot.

hanging the stuff 24/7 --- it's bound to get cut by a falling limb or too much stress in high wind conditions.

so far, none of the stuff l have hung has fallen but, l'm sure it's just a matter of time.

Pulleys are garage door parts from a repair kit bought at the local hardware store.
