the Spitfire, as all new V2 Banshees offer modern Standards, or those to become more common in the near Future! Headtube is ZS44/ZS56 = takes every common Steerer and Headset Seatpost is 30,9/34,9 inner/outer Diameter = takes every common Post Rear Spacing is the Choice you like = 135x10 / 142x12 /150x12 Shock-Size is 200x57 / 7.875x2.25 Forks from 140 mm up to 160 mm Travel
Give the Spitfire a good Demoride at your LBS and decide for yourself. Yep, the Spitfire is "a lot of" Bike, just because it is durable, very sensitive but lively Suspension, stiff and rigid, and a Geometry that fits pretty well for those who go down, but is more than great enough to earn your Turns on long Climbs.
This looks great! My LBS made a good sales pitch for the Spitfire, but I'm still worried it will be too much bike for my area. Is this bike free of proprietary components (ex: funny headset sizes, shock sizes, etc.)? I can't justify upgrading my Cannondale because I would have to special order a new shock.
