Yeah I'm very happy with the weight especially after hearing rumours that they are actually heavier then claimed.

 I think you will be super happy with the bike. My Rune now being rode by my good mate, is still the lightest bike in our group. However the bike is super strong and will take a beating. The new version is to more DH orientated while keeping its fresh lively pedal. Awesome! RideOn!

 Really? I haven't seen the weight of a new Spitfire, keep in mind that this is a medium without the dropouts and shock.

 Ah, in that case I am probably wrong. I saw a scale shot of a Spitfire V2 with shock and dropouts, at 8 pounds.

 Well with shock it's 7.98lbs, that's still without the dropouts, I forgot to weigh them. So not that far off.

 My medium Spitfire w/o Shock or dropouts was 7lb even. It was the Black ano, the lightest color option. And the dropouts weigh 1.2lbs by the way. The axle it comes with is also the heaviest axle I have ever seen.

 Damn. Even though these Banshee frames are heavier then the average frame of similar style, they really don't feel porky on the trail.
