Ellsworth Rogue....complete. A hint of orange did wonders on this rainforest green unique coloured frame. Still wish I had an uncut bottom crown to lift the front another inch or so anyone want to swap my new one for an uncut one, message me please. The only two things to change is the wheelset and stem to be 100% totally happy.

keep this one bro, really dig the rainforest paint job and the Rogue is an awesome bike...I would also really like to try the Butcher or the HillBilly for my next set, they really look capable...bro, if you want even more rise than what you already have on your bars, there are many options you could look into...first off, I'd go with a lower stack lower and upper headsets, this would allow you to lower the stanchions into the lower crown a bit which would slacken down the front end and it would also allow you to lower your top crown to get a few millimeters poking through on top....if you're just looking for a higher frontend, you could use some of those stack spacers between the stem and topcrown or even use higher rise bars...

Yes bro, maybe take her up a little via spacers. The other owner had uncut crown, took her right up, but saying that he was 6ft 4in tall. Different set-up for height I suppose, and my short ass only 5ft 8in lol.

Like this bike but I would go all black spec to hi light the awesome frame colour ... As long as it rides well who cares what colour it is lol .... I love these bikes , it's a keeper mate

you can't get much higher than what you're running atm...you have a tall headtube with external headset, you're running a tall crown and a pretty tall stem...how tall do you want to go ???...

I was trying to get her like the original owner had her, close to 65* but he must of run uncut Boxxers as I'm an inch off his measurements, thats all? It ain't a big issue....I took the quarter of an inch red spacer from above to below the top crown, that will do so I'm on max angle now, I would say 66*, or most definately when I'm sat on her !!!

bro, I think there's something you don't get here, or maybe it's just me being a bit thick here, lol...you can't change the head angle by placing or removing spacers below the top crown, you can only get the front end slacker by getting a taller ''axle to lower crow'' height, (see first post),,,or of course an AngleSet which can't be used on you headtube...this brings me back the the steer tube issue, even if it was still uncut (original), you simply could not get any higher because you would need to bring those stanchions up a bit (sliding up through the lower crown) to reach the top crown and get solid clamping on top,,,this only means that the ''axle to lower crow'' height will now be shorter which will make the head angle steeper,,,also, if you lower the bottom crown too much, you might risk slamming the lowers in that crown on a bottom out....like I said, if you want to get the front end slacker, it's easy, get a muh thinner upper and lower cup headset which will allow you to slide down the stanchions through the lower crown...also, no spacers below the upper crown...the original owner must have had a short headtube like on the TR and probably had to run a few spacers to push his upper crown up a bit,,,this is not your case at all, you have already used all the space between the lower and upper crown, you actually have to make some space in between....

I se it now bro....I can't go any lower unless I get thinner headset cups, but that's pointless due to the -1* angle on the headset anyway? As the frame is long, she don't feel as high on the front If you know what I mean? Feels like a long xc rig rather than a downhill/freeride rig.... shorter top tube frame with high headset, and slacker front and seat tube usually on a DH, mine just feels long....but not much lift up front? Almost like the Moment which is perfect to ride but 9lb lighter !!! Maybe I need 3in riser bars to feel more DH as at the min she feels low....or, I'm just a fussy twat as usual? lol/

to get the front end slacker, you need to lower the stanchions into the lower crown and to achieve that, you will need to shorten the distance between the two crowns...I had the same problem when I tried a double crown on the Nomad,,,here's exactly what I did bro, I had the headtube shaved down with a headtube facing tool on top and bottom and used a Crank Brothers Sage FR stainless headset installed,,,it's pretty much one of the lowest stack headset available and it has an extra long sleeve for extra strenght Inside the headtube...it's super light and being Army green, it would look perfect on your bike...I gained almost an inch when I did that on the Nomad and after the modifs, the stanchions were sticking out of the top crown...

I had that exact headset and colour from Chainreactioncycles, but there was a part missing if I can remember? The seals I think? Now that item is discontinued....I may just run it as she is, and knowing me, change the frame by the summer lmfao !!!! I'm off to view 2 Bull Terrier puppies tomorrow....view? I reckon tracy is going to get me one for my birthday? I can see me pushing the issue and getting the bloody two !!! It's a 12 week old male and female....imagine the handful they would be raised together....with Tracys pampered poodle lmao !!!! It's going to be mayhem !!!

it will not be mayhem for long when the poodle gets chopped down as a snack, lmao...

Sell/don't sell??? mmmmm. A newer Moment like I had before would be nice and fast, the Rogue is a very long freeride monster, I just feel the head angle/headset should be around 2in higher and slightly slacker to feel right. What's the point of having a large low slung machine 10lbs+ over the same style in a XC bike ??? Do you get me? This silver Moment is one of the longest bike I have ever owned.....she is perfect in all areas, faultless. I'm just curious over the newer frame in the Moment, or lower travel Epiphany? I'm getting to feel like anything over 6in in this area of Wales is wasted by walking and less riding.
