In before CB wheel hate. But that stem does look aesthetically uncomfortable.

Mondraker modified the whole geo of their bikes to run those stems

The rear suspension setup on them is pretty good though. Considoring the geo they have very little rear bob.

Yeah, the shock was set up a bit too soft for me and it still pedalled really well.

I love the look of these, how did you find it? Im considering getting the new 'Mid Season' build.

It was quite good, but it was a bit too much bike for the stuff I was riding it on. On some rougher stuff with fast descents I think it would be really good.

A shop kinda close to me has a demo one that I think I'll take out for a weekend and try it on some local stuff. Did it feel sluggish much? The wheelbase is longer than my v10 lol

A bit yeah, but not too bad, but my bike is pretty long so I'm used to that.

Looks so wrong! How did it ride? Would be okay with a normal stem IMO!

Ride was good, cornering felt a bit strange to begin with, the wheel base is pretty long so it's not the most agile. It didn't feel as weird as it looks though Razz

I tried the Dune XR at Grizedale forest and loved it. The short stem makes it really responisve. I have the Dune RR but it has a different geometery. I want the short stem!

Ah, fair play, maybe not thaaaaat bad then Wink I'd have to ride on one before passing final judgment though! Razz

Yeah. I don't think I'd buy one, but it did ride well. The trail I was trying it on wasn't ideal for the forward geo, it was quite twisty single track, on a fast, rough trail with sweeping corners it would be pretty sick. Not as radical as a Mega though Wink
