Yeah been down Hamsterley few times with them and they kinda 'skim' rocks instead of hitting them as the lexan/plastic is quite shock absorbing in a good way
Had some DMR V12's & they hooked up on rocks & some times had me off...

cheers there light & super grippy with 5 Tens on and kinda raise up in middle weird at 1st but dead comfy

i run them on my DJ

never really been brave enough to stick them on the DH bike, heard people snapping them ect, but i might give them a go next time im out

But its good to know that you have been riding them and liking them
