The wheel is still going strong however; the kenda komfort which sits in it has seen better days. The beed seems to let go after a certain period with the Komforts. The same thing happened with my front tire although it was slightly less pronounced. I really wish my frame accepted a standard sized rear tire.

 That's a shame, I've got a brand new Komfort (only 580g this time around) waiting to be used. Check out the Specialized Compound Control 2.0. It's very very small. Larger than a Komfort, but actually designed for what we do.

 I picked this one up from Ziggy almost a year ago so I'll snatch another up if I can't find a tire locally this weekend. I have been riding the Specialized Compound Control in 2.2 up front for a bit now and its pretty huge. Would the CC 2.0's profile be around the same as the KHE dirt tires? I know the KHE's fit.
