its actually 3473/4 lbs on a digital scale, but to do it i had to make some modifications, the bottom bracket was shaved to accommodate the xtr crankset which are extremely light and needed for the north shore mountains, the rest of the group is all xtr and chris king with the exo maxis minions, i had also rode my friends specialized demo 8ii and loved the feel of the rear end, which than in turn made me chop the rear chain stays by half of an inch and than re-fabbed the rear triangle so that it would receive the 135mm hub and have a nicer chain line, and yes it is a noticeable difference in the feel much quicker reaction and weight transfer to the rear, hucks oh yeah!

 is this thing really 34 lbs??
