My final evening in Chile was spent riding Las Varas in the hills above Santiago during golden hour. One hour after this shot was taken I would be at the airport about to begin my long journey home, wishing I had more time to spend in one of my favorite countries with some fantastic friends I have made there over the years.

April - Nevados De Chillan, Chile

Anyone that knows me knows I have a soft spot for Chile, hence the reason I made two trips there in 2014. The riding, the hospitality and the openness of the people keeps me coming back again and again. It also helps that I have found some of the most photogenic trails on earth here ans simply can not get enough of the place. This year I experienced Nevados De Chillan for the first time and was left speechless. I probably left Chillan after two weeks with more photos that I am proud of than the rest of the season combined. It just got better and better the longer we stayed and the more we explored.

I've taken a ton of photos over the past few months, a countless number of which I am extremely proud of, yet this photo of Jared Graves out for a training ride in Nevados De Chillan may be the one I would place at the top of the list. Not only is the photo beautiful, so much so that you almost don't notice Jared bar dragging through the corner, but the entire experience of this location, the trail and the time of year is something I will never forget. Chillan at the height of fall with all the vibrant colors popping was simply breathtaking.
