What wheel size would your ideal mountain bike have?

I think frame geometry has done more for "the ride" than wheel size. After owning all 3 sizes, 26, 27.5 and 29 in a similar category of bike... I'm back on 26 - by choice on a slacked out trail slayer. Fact is, i've been riding since the early 90's. I'm no racer. I truly do not see a difference in my ride by changing wheel size. I don't care how long it takes me to get to the top, or how many seconds I can shave downhill... It's all about the smiles per gallon - and those small playful wheels do it for me.

 What about 26" rear & 27.5 front or 27.5 rear & 29" front ?

Yep, 29" front, 27.5" rear is the ultimate gravity oriented combination!

Wheel size choice is what we should have, not just the sizes the industry says we can have,we should be able to have total control over what we have front and rear if we want it that way too, surly with the diversity inside the industry that there is now we can have it that way,we used to see 26"/27.5 compatible frames when 27.5 was new,why not now ? the industry was making 26" forks for decades, why not now ? personally i would have 26" over any other size, but i'm not allowed that, they industry 'says' i can't have it,for every action there's an equal and opposite reaction though,i'm determined never to plough my cash into the industry until i can have what i want,i'm all for diversity and choice so it's not like i'm 100% against 27.5,i can see the benefits of 27.5 totally,i just want my choice.
