How satisfied are you with your Shimano MTB brakes?

Extremely satisfied - they're faultless.
Moderately satisfied - they work fine.
Moderately dissatisfied - they could be much better.
Very dissatisfied - they are very disappointing.

love getting told my mt201s are underpowered then watching buddies’ code RSC’s overheat riding the same terrain/speed/weight. Haven’t bled them in over a year and they still work fine

Brilliant brakes until one of the pistons came loose and the seal became misaligned when the lever was accidentally squeezed with no rotor in. You can’t split a shimano calliper and replace the seals so that’s now in the bin. Not happy because a piston seal change is easy but shimano don’t like callipers being split.

I have the MT420’s on my Bulls Iconic TR 1 Speed with 203mm center lock rotors and they modulate and perform very well on this 60 lbs bike. I only have 750 miles on them so far.

grabby grabby grabby . . . they stop just fine, but too much power too quickly . . . lack of progresion

I had a piston crack in my XT 4 piston brakes just after about 300km, other that that they are great!
