Mine came with fox dhx5, bought it to replace my old Scream. Nice attention to detail, Banshee quality. Rear end feels great, nice and simple lines. I use it for DH mostly, Banshee says thats not their fastest bike but its enough for me. Im gonna get a Legend when im fast enough.

Very underrated frame. People instantly say it's too heavy, but it aint bad at all. Mine comes in at a respectable 17,5 kilo's or 38,5 lbs and I can throw anything I want at it, it will just go on and beg for more. Very lively rear end, don't be fooled that 4 bar's are crap, this design is pretty freaking good you'll get loads of feedback on what the bike is doing. And that's just with a dhx 5.0 i'm really tempted to try the rc4 it would be even better. Can't really fault it for anything, I might not like the maxle cause it's a bit tricky to get the wheel out but that's not Banshee's fault. The 2 suspension settings have both 2 geometry settings aswell making it a whole lot more adjustable to different riding locations. Don't hesitate if you're thinking of getting one, you won't be dissapointed.

I have had the first year Banshee scream since it came out and it is an exceptional freeride/big drop bike. Very durable, well constructed, Pipp is a great guy to deal with, always helpful. The bike is quick handling for shore style stuff, so in it's stock form with dual 26" wheels it is a little steep for high speed DH. This can easily be changed buy putting a 24" on the rear.
I have mine setup with an avalanche chubbie shock and a marzocchi shiver DC. Excellent pedaling out of along travel bike. I have ridden/owned/sold sooo many bikes and this one is my favorie for super technical, what most people would call "sick" riding.

The successor to the Scream, one of the greatest bikes ever made. Great geo, super strong frame and much less stress on shocks than the Scream was.

BansheeScythe (MSRP $1800) — The scythe captures the spirit of toughness. It was made to be the tool of the trade for the no nonsense rider whose concerned more about stomping that tech section of trail then about what his "girlfriends" at the coffee shop, talkin tech-wheenie speak, think. Be it scorching heat, rain, snow, hail or ice cold nothing stops scythe riders from getting to the trails. Everything, on this bike is engineered to let you ride it hard, withstand the elements, all with minimal maintenance... you don't need treat this bike with any respect, but you can always count on it to get you home.
