Media hype aside (every bike gets it) I purchased a large in Oct 2018 (think they came out 2017). All carbon & only weighs 1kg less than my medium 2010 alu Pivot Mach429 short travel bike. It does climb well, has pedal bob on fork only when standing with front & rear set up soft (80kg rider, 49psi forks, 169psi shock), no pedal bob on rear. Smooth & quieter ride on usual XC trails, soaks up the big hits on rougher AM tracks that used to rattle my teeth. The down-tube looks a bit industrial but overall liked the look of the bike when it first came out. The only thing I notice is the occasional flat pedal strike when climbing a rocky section that has big enough rocks that manage to use a chunk of front & rear travel at the same time but it's rare.

Square One EX helps riders get more speed and extends their riding range. Square One bikes are able to move over obstacles quicker which improves lap times, reduces rider fatigue and increases on trail confidence. All Square One EX frames are built around 27.5 wheels and feature a full ACX carbon frame with 180mm suspension travel.
