SRAMPC-971

 After a lifetime of riding with Shimano components, I went on the recommendations of a few trusted riders and tried SRAM...I'll never go back to Shimano! There is absolutely no comparison to SRAM's 100% positive engagement, there's no trimming-on-the-go...just straight goodness! HIGHLY Recommended!

 I had a KMC chain and two Shimano Deore chains breaking on my bike after just a few weeks of hard riding (and yes, I always clean and lube my chain after every ride) But this has been rock solid. No rust, even after multi day journeys, no stretch as far as I can tell (after about 4000km so far)

 The SRAM PC-971 chain is the best 9-speed chain in the market. We run Sram chains on all of our bikes and we have never been disappointed with them. They are so well built for everyday riders. The other great thing about this chain is that it is light but at the same time strong so we love to tell people that this is a must for their bike if they race. When we were trying out this chain before selling it to the market all of us did not want to go back to our old chain. ))))

 I havent snapped it yet, and despite severe neglegence it hasn't rusted. I wouldn't bother paying any more for a chain unless I was a top 4x or DH racer with legs like tree trunks as this does the job perfectly well!

 Been running mine for almost a year on 2 bikes, and it works great. Basically the same performance as the 991, just a tad heavier.

 love this chain....i was using the xtr but they kept breakin so i went with the 971 and its really smooth..bought one for each bike on

 Lightweight, durable string. Does not extend. Link does not frown. I think this product is an excellent choice for beginners and intermediate. I recommend.
