the whole price of the wheel builds does I do believe, quality of the build depends on who does it though. If you can build a good wheel, it'll rip. I know a mate who runs on his DH bike spikes on pro II's but with DT swiss XC spokes. He races at national level and for 8 months now not a problem, but some people could build that set up with triple butted spokes and it'd be weak as hell :/

true, but they're a LOT tougher, the subrosa is an XC/AM rim remember, and the spikes are still very light, the wider rim also means the tyres sit a LOT better, and are more solid going round corners!

I'd go for the Spank Spikes in Chrome, think that'd make the bike look stunning! (: and on Pro II's of course!
