I just bought the new Straightline SCC stem from the Surrey BikeZone (The best bike store ever) for $135. the stem is not on my bike yet but just holding it in my hands tells me that it's super lite. It is also the NICEST LOOKING STEM i have ever seen!
It's just really expensive.

its gnar and its tottaly worth it its sick pus solid and really lite i have it on my pimped out stp ss and its makes the bike look so much cooler and slick overall it such a great stem so you should buy it or else im going to hunt you down and burn your house down

I put this stem on my bike mid summer of 2011, my old stem with was only 4 months old at the time was having trouble clamping to the bar with enough force to survive a day of riding without needing to readjust it a couple times. decided to get this stem and so far so good. also for all those gram counters for a small in house company its light.

This defines awesomeness. The bar clamping technique is super easy to use and secure, more manufacters should use this. It weighs nothing, very stiff and very very pretty. New x-ray colours look rad too.

There isn't really much to say, really... the stem says enough for itself! It's amazing. Period. I have the 35mm stem and I couldn't be happier.

Pros: Flush fit with my bars and steer tube, gorgeous colour and design. Cons: Looks way better than everything else on my bike.

Bought this stem 1 year ago. Looks fantastic, well made, cool design & much lighter than it looks. So far had no problems at all and happy, would definitely recommend.

expensive stem but its really worth it! looks amazing because of the design, machining quality, and finish quality. its also very light and strong

It may not be the lightest, but its up there.

StraitlineSSC (Split Steerer Clamp) (MSRP $125) — The new Straitline SSC stem is a perfect fusion of form and function.
