That's because Ruben isn't competitive any longer. While you may be right that there's more money in MTB than in BMX, I seriously doubt that any slopestyle riders take home more than Garret Reynolds or Harry Main.

I can't speak for the whole crew, but I started out riding dirt jumps on a 26 and eventually started iridng a lot more street. I've tried BMX a bunch of times riding 26 has always felt better to me.
