Custom built Firebird. Size Large. Yellow metallic vinyl over the factory orange paint. Can be removed. Orange paint is in perfect condition and not faded because of that. All mountain style frame armor across all major sections off frame to avoid unnecessary cosmetic issues. Bike has been ridden a handful of times over the last year. Rode it a ton the first year it was assembled, other bikes have replaced it. All suspension was serviced within the last year with documentation. Brakes were purchased brand new in October 2023. This is a 2015 Rocky Mountain Thunder bolt BC edition in a size XL. (27.5 wheel size) This was the top tier offering in the thunderbolt lineup. Every bit of maintenance on this bike has been done at every interval along with several upgrades: -XT 4 piston brakes -Raceface SIXC carbon bar -wolf tooth 34t ring - main pivot was upgraded to the bearing link Rocky offered the following year - specialized zen cage with EMT tool - recently installed schwalbe knobby nic tires with fresh sealant - shimano xt 11spd drivetrain w/ recently replaced x01 xd cassette The stock Rockshox monarch rear shock, seatpost, and Pike fork have been serviced at every interval. Damper in fork has seen all service kit updates when available during service intervals, same with seatpost and shock. Front fork was also extended to 140 using the upgraded debonair air spring. This is a size large, stumpjumper short travel frame. It is 27.5 specific and comes with Ohlins Ttx rear shock (130mm of travel) and Ohlins M.2 fork (140mm of travel) The suspension was purchased just under a year ago and has the season of riding on it. Both the rear shock and forks were serviced at the end of October. This is the sunset fade/acid kiwi “frame only” colorway which was not available as a short travel option from the factory making this bike something you definitely won’t see another one of. Frame has normal cosmetic wear and tear: marks from the chain, some heel rub on the non-drive chain stay, some top tube scuffs from mounting and dismounting.
