Can someone explain how a 40lbs e bike handles better than a 50lbs e bike?
Are you trails ultra flat and smooth?
If you have ever ridden a 50 lbs e bike through steep chunk at full pace, than tried to do the same thing on an equivalent normal bike, you would get tossed off the bike. And cornering, more sprung weight almost always gives more grip. I can still bunny hop, scandy flick and jump just as well as the “normal” bike.
Very confused on how or why people prefer descending on normal bikes, every time I ride normal bikes I feel 10x sketchier while going the same speed.
