After much deliberation, I am regrettably selling my Canyon Torque FRX Flashzone 2013 DH Mountain Bike (Size Large). This is due to recently moving into a shared house, where space is limited and simply not having as much time to ride anymore. The bike has only ever been seldom used. Subsequently, the bike is in very good condition. It has been well looked-after, with only minor signs of use. Recently the bike has had a full service. This included a full lower leg fork service, with Fox Racing Shox Gold Suspension Fluid and new seals. In addition, both brakes were bled and new pads fitted. The bike is mechanically sound and is ready to ride. No expense has been spared on this bike. It has an impressive spec list, including Fox 40 Kashima Forks, Mavic Deemax Ultimate Wheels, Cane Creek DB Coil Shock and a SRAM X0 Groupset. I’ve finally decided to sell my beloved Cannondale MOTO 3. I’ve recently moved house and simply do not have the space for all my bikes. No expense has been spared and most of the components are nearly new. This model is quite rare in the UK. Its hand built in the USA, and cost £3200 new! The bike features a Rockshox Lyric Fork and a Rockshox Monarch 4.2 Rear Shock. The forks were sent to TF Tuned and for £300 converted from Air to U-Turn Coil. This improves the reliability and ‘plushness’ of the Forks. Essentially, they’re now very similar to the Rockshox Domain forks but much lighter. The forks also come with a brand new service kit for the future. The rear shock has recently been serviced and a new air valve was fitted. One of my favourite parts of the bike is the Truvativ HammerSchmidt FR Chainset (RRP: £680). This has also just had a full service and is working perfectly. For sale is my 2012 Cove Hummer 19” Titanium mountain bike frame. The frame was fabricated by Lynskey, the geometry is spot on and every weld is beautiful. This is a brilliant frame to build up and ride. It has been designed to run a 130/140mm suspension fork with a 1 1/8” steerer tube. I was riding it with 26” wheels, however; I’ve been told that this frame has enough clearance to run a 650b wheelset with 2.1” tyres. Included with the frame is a 30mm Thomson Elite Layback seatpost and shim. I will also include one of the world’s best Chris King NoThreadSet headset, originally costing £145 new! The headset is missing the top cap, but has recently been serviced and is working smoothly. The frame has been ridden, so does have a few cosmetic marks. There are no dings or dents. There are various scratches across the frame, mainly around the headset from cable rub. Please see photos for more detail. I would think any scratches could be polished out, as the frame is just ‘raw’ titanium in colour. Overall, this is a fantastic frame! It feels amazing to ride and is very versatile. I’m regrettably selling my 2014 Boardman Team FS 650B Mountain Bike. I initially purchased this bike to experience the relatively new 27.5” wheel size. Having recently moved into a small flat, already owning a few bikes and having bills to pay, I have to downsize and sell some. I’ll be truly sorry to see it go, it rides beautifully and has only seen a small handful of rides. It’s almost in ‘As New’ condition. The bike has had some upgrades. The original SRAM X5 front and rear mechs have been upgraded to SRAM X9 derailleurs. The Wellgo pedals have been replaced with DMR V8’s. Finally, the stock AVID Elixir 1 brakes have been upgraded to AVID Elixir 3’s. The bike was also taken to Hargroves Cycles in Swindon, where blue brake hoses were fitted and the brakes professionally bled. This complements the blue frame highlights very nicely and gives a truly personalised look. This is an outstanding bike, it feels very comfortable and is great fun to ride. The frame is size 18” and designed to fit riders between 168-178cm (Saying that, I’m 185cm and still felt excellent). The geometry is fairly relaxed and gives you brilliant control and confidence at high speed and during downhills. Comes with almost £300 worth of upgrades and extras!
