We can’t reveal all our secrets ;) But we can explain a bit more about why we chose this design. The suspension system is simple, effective, and easy to manage: a single pivot with a link and rocker arm. The design also allows us to test different suspension settings without altering the bike’s geometry or travel. That’s a very important characteristic of the project.

You all got good points! The main purpose of the fairing is to make the bike easier to maintain and clean. It can be removed in a matter of seconds. It also protects the data acquisition and control systems located inside the front triangle.

Well spotted! We are currently finalising the development of the gearbox, which is designed to be fully integrated within the bike ecosystem. A physical version of the bike fitted with the gearbox will be on display in Loudenvielle, but as development is still ongoing, the race bike will use a rear mech for this first World Cup appearance.

No worries, that’s not just a PR thing ;) What we mean is that we’re taking a similar approach to those sports: a bike specifically designed to facilitate operation and maintenance, a full range of evaluation tools (data acquisition, control systems, track analysis, etc.), and a control room capable of issuing recommendations on setup and race strategy in real time.
