When you tell the people, that you are based in Cologne, Germany they always think of flat land without mountains and trails. Sure, we only have little hills with less altitude about 100-300 hm, but we have countless trails. Some are flowy and easy to ride, but others are steep and technical, like the Blitz (Lightning).
The first part through the fern starts fast and flowy.
After entering the Forest, the Trail become’s more narrow but still keeps the flow.
But then the flow ends and you have to show your technical skills to survive the steep terrain.
Carrying your bike uphill steep trails is always a hard job.
But in the end it’s worth to walk or pedal up and get rewarded with a nice descent.
