Opinion: Handlebar Width is the Most Overlooked Element of Mountain Bike Fit

My bike came with 800mm bars and that felt so bad just riding home. Out on the trail it wasn't so bad but it still felt way to wide. Cut them down to 760mm and it's been way more fun. A riding buddy has the same bike as well just in the large size and we are the same height and he didn't cut down his bars and still makes it through tight sections of trees. On another note. My newer bike is how every bike should come as, with a longer steerer and the spacers so you the rider can adjust the stem height vs it coming as preset setting like most bikes come set up as and then having to get a higher rise bar if you wanted that change in steering.

Video: Trail Builder vs Trail Poacher

This was great to watch! While the trails I made didn't have huge jumps or any for that matter the bigger issue I had was when I opened the trail up and giving them names because they "discovered" the trail. Here in Toronto we have the Don Valley where I started many trails back in the day and lurked for many years and now get to see those saying they made the trails, which they prob did some maintence or trail changes but to hear them say they made them? pfft Trail Claimers should be a video as well.

I miss my border collie that would join me in my rides and even on trail build days. She would get so excited when I got the bike ready and I'm sure just as disappointed when she saw she wasn't coming along but she needed her rest days. I should've named a trail after her something like Shadow's Run which does sound better then what others would call Beaver Flats.
