REPORTS TO: Service Manager / Store Manager/ Operations Manager DIRECT REPORTS: None OVERVIEW: We are seeking a Bike Mechanic for our Downtown San Diego location. This is a Part-Time position. This individual should be enthralled by bicycles and be an active cyclist. This individual must be able to complete basic repairs in a timely, efficient, manner. Much of the duties of this position are centered within our Bicycle Rental Department. Renting and sizing bikes for customers is required. Key Responsibilities: Assists customers in an enthusiastic and courteous manner; provides “wow” customer service. Responsible for properly taking in all service work including correctly filling out service work orders, scheduling an appropriate amount of repairs and completing those repairs in a timely manner. Advises and assists customers with their product selection without bias. Communicates with bike shop manager repair and warranty part needs. Develops and maintains knowledge expertise of all merchandise in department to effectively assist customers with accurate information; keeps current as new product lines are introduced Maintains a clean and safe workplace. The large one has a few scuffs on the fork stanchions, but nothing big enough to effect the integrity of the fork seals. Tires have been swapped out, but are otherwise stock. Selling a medium used but well maintained 2015 Giant Trance 27.5 2. One in medium size. Mostly stock. Only thing not stock is the tires.
