Review: All-Season Clothing From Ornot
@mtmc99: Here’s how to get the funk out. I do this to my yoga and bike clothes like every 3 months.
1. Fill tub with hot water. Add tons of oxi clean and white vinegar.
2. Throw in all bike gear and let soak in tub till water turns cold.
3. Agitate laundry in tub every 30 minutes or so
4. Wash in machine with white vinegar and oxi clean
You’ll be shocked by how dirty the water in the tub gets but it gets all the funk out of your clothes.

First Look: Revel Ranger Gets Updated With UDH
@nickfranko: allegedly... just like when carbon bikes were coming along and everyone was saying they were gonna break them cause they ripped so hard. Here we are.
Wait it out a few years and see how many bikes get mangled. Doubt a lot of the frame manufacturers would have went this route if they were going to have to warranty a shit load of frames.

First Look: Revel Ranger Gets Updated With UDH
@sjma: but it still works with standard derailleurs? What Trojan horse is there? Sram isnt forcing you to switch over. You can still use a mechanical drivetrain. You also can still go buy the hanger at any shop.
Not sure why everyone is so worked up that there is another option out there. This new transmission system literally changes nothing to what your riding now. Mechanical drivetrains are going nowhere.

Meet The All New Transition Smuggler
@TylerP15: for a boutique brand it is. Look at the evils, forbidden , weareone. Pivot, revel. Insert any other boutique brand that is actually good and you get the point. What boutique brand offers value any more? What bike brand does that isn’t a corporate overlord?

Meet The All New Transition Smuggler
@a-prince: they Have been on the upper end for like 4 years now. They updated their frames and have been similarly priced to Santa Cruz, evil , pivot ever since. You can argue over the builds but if you compare these to the Santa Cruz tallboy builds then I think these offer a bit more value.

Transition Releases Relay Lightweight eMTB
@nerds-on-dirt-mtb: I’m 40 in good shape and I ride ebikes about half the time now. For one I don’t have as much free time anymore so getting more laps in is nice. Second they are super nice to ride the next day after you’ve had a big day on your regular bike. You can still take a ride on a recovery day.
Who cares what anti ebike guys think? I had lots of opinions when I was young that I am glad to have grown out of. These whiners will be no different.

Patent Round-Up: The Future of AXS? Axle Batteries, Solar-Charging & Self-Charging
They are out there right now and people don’t buy them. That’s the issue. I’ve tried to love them but the drawbacks are there. It’s doesn’t help that zerode hasn’t updated their frame in a coons age. Regardless I hope gearboxes get better with electrification. That or a variable frequency drive. That might have some promise
