Jan 10, 2021Trek Slash 8 XL
$2300 GBPTrek Slash 8 2020 is an aluminium enduro mountain bike with fast-rolling 29er wheels, a 160 mm RockShox Lyrik Ultimate fork and Trek's exclusive RE:aktiv with Thru Shaft 150mm shock . Smart spec, high-end suspension and the burly Alpha Aluminium frame make Slash 8 a high-value ride for enduro racers and all-around trail rippers who want to rail sketchy descents faster than anyone else in their crew.
Bought at the begging of lockdown and Invisiframed from new, but not used enough, only ridden a handful of time, reason for selling is barely using it.

Winner Announced: Someone Won a Bike, a Trip to New Zealand, & More with GT's GTFO Contest
Dear GT & Pinkbike... i watched that video series "The Privateer 2018" very good series, it showed a lot about how a decent bike and a good team can make a big difference but ultimately its the rider, not the bike and the way the Privateer learnt from those pro racers was brilliant to see... After that series me and some of my mates when up to Cannock Chase Trails Near Birmingham and i put all of those tips and line choice advise to work... a year on and my riding has improved, i'm able to make the most of any trail and even some bike park stuff... ive been riding on a old Carrera Kraken, but its now so upgraded from Ebay parts and hand me downs from my mates the only thing that is original is the frame and wheels ????... since i bought the bike 4 years ago, ive grown alot as a rider and in size (now 18 years old) the bike is 2 sizes too small, buckled wheel and has a 90mm fork upfront... But it still sends on the drops and manuals like a train ????... thought id tell you lads my little story, if you guys have any advice or could hook my up, im all ear...
love all the work you guys do at Pinkbike!
Happy riding!
