@Sscottt: they were Cheap Amazon ones, rock bros maybe? Very open, and I was able to pull my hands out on a lot of crashes, but then the stars aligned and I stiffed my front wheel into deep snow on a turn. Was pitched OTB and I remember looking at my hands stuck while I was trying to throw them forward. I’ll be fine, missing half this season though unfortunately. Heated bars/gloves for me from now on!

@H2o1199: I’m sitting on my couch with a cv collar on after fracturing my C7 on a fatbike ride 2 months ago because I couldn’t get my hands out of my pogies in time. I’ll take heated bars next winter.

@phops: I rock a hitch rack on my truck most of the summer because the bed is full of all the camping gear I need for DH races… tailgate pad is amazing when I’m not camping, but man it’s a pita to put on and take off every weekend during race season!.
