Jones SWB Custom w. Extras

$1800 CAD
I have no idea what category this fits in. Where does a rigid steel bikepacking rig fit? Up for sale is my 2014 Jones Diamond SWB Custom. I've had it built up as a bikepacker, road, commuter, and trail bike, and it's been excellent in all these roles. It'll fit 27.5+ and 29 x 2.4. The front fork will clear a 5"x 26" w. ease. ARC30's with new 27.5 Schwalbe SuperMotoX's, Jones 135F hub, XT QR rear RF Cinch Aeffect Cranks Shimano BB XO gripshift, X9 10spd w. sunrace 11-42 cassette 1091 chain Shimano 486 brakes w. spare pads Chris King Headset Jones Bar Thompson Post, + Clamp Seat, Pedals, and rack mount not included. It comes with the carousel Jones frame bag [280$] Spare 29+ wheelset [PAUL 135FHUB x Mavic EN427rim] I had the forks professionally modified by a local framebuilder [Roche] to braze blind anything cage mounts to the fork, and hourglass bosses for a front rack [180$]. I was planning on repainting it, but frankly haven't gotten around to it yet. I also had him tap the rear brake bridge for better fender mounting. I've put a full year on these mods and have been thrilled with them. I should point out that this is a "steelhead" Jones and was made by Jones before he shifted his production and started offering his "complete builds". It's got better tubing, and way better tube profiles on the rear end, and cast headtube badge instead of the sticker [thus steelhead]. It's got a eccentric BB if you want to go single speed, and the front fork can [and has!] cleared a 5" fat tire. Rear will clear a 27.5+, and a 2.4 x 29 on a wide rim. I attached a pick with 27.5x3 Trail bosses on there [Not inlcuded] so you can see what it looked like in a bikepacking setup, they're tight, but it'll chooch. I have some Dirt Wizards I could include if you're really keen. I'm happy to part out / sell as a frameset or chassis. I've got lots of bikepacking gear that can wheel / deal, and a few other wheelset options too. Best to see and discuss in person. I'm selling because of kids and no time to ride more bikes. In the NW, near SAIT.

@showmethemountains: yeah, I get how they'd lace it [kinda], but does it actually do anything? is there a name for the lacing pattern to do some more reading on it? probably the questions I should have asked at the start...

x2. I've stood at the top, and tobogganed down the "astroturf-eqse" landing slope when younger and stupid(er). it's f*cking terrifying - I couldn't imagine hitting that on a bike.

18.5 Rocky Mountain Blizzard Frame + Fox fork

$450 CAD
mixed feelings about selling this one - this has been a wall hanger for a long time but I've got to be honest that I haven't built it up so it should go to a good home. classic canadian steel with the wicked hand painted powdercoat maple leafs. it's been well loved and has lots of scrapes and rubs in the paint and the decals aren't in great shape, but it's straight and true. The fork is a RL80 that was completely overhauled before I hung it on the wall - zero rides and super plush. Stanchions are perfect.. I've got the original z2 alloy i can throw in as well, but it needs a rebuild [but it's clean and relatively unmarked]. I've got most of the original parts off it if you're looking to do a period build, can be discussed. Price is OBO.

specialized carbon touring fork

$80 CAD
nice little carbon fork i picked up intending to put it on the wife's touring build. she ended up getting a new bike so the build never happened. 1 1/8 straight, full fender / rack options. good shape, just minor scratches from kicking around the shop. clearing out space to make room for winter projects. Tire shown is a 700x40 schwalbe studded - loads of clearance for a fender.
