What the Heck is a Down-Country Bike? - Opinion
Paific NW XC is very different from So Cal XC racing. I put a 120-150 dual position Pike on my Epic. Bit more travel up front and it slacks the headtube, 69.5 to 67, with the turn of a knob. BCXC is it's own bread.

I'm on an Epic with fat-ish tires and a dual position air Pike, 120-150mm. Great set up for trail XC and with the fork open to 150mm my head tube is around 67 degrees. Heavy fork but the bike does what I need with it.

Talking About Tire Pressure - Pinkbike Poll
Ah-ha, that's why nobody can agree on tire pressure, we're all using different gages, punps, digital, analog, etc. I bet we are all actually riding the same pressure after all!

Talking About Tire Pressure - Pinkbike Poll
@huntstyle: Same here. Bike came with tubes. Figured I'd Keep them in until I got a flat, then I'd go tubeless. Still waiting. I changed the rear tire because the tread ran low and used the same inner tube. No flat problems with tubes here (Pac NW). Of course I'm not riding in sticker bush So Cal or hitting huge air, so maybe it is just my riding.

Specialized Stumpjumper Evo

$1500 USD
Selling my 2015 Stumpjumper Evo Comp 29er Trail bike. It is 135mm rear with a custom tuned Fox shock with climb/trail/descend modes paired with a 140mm Rock Shox Revelation suspension fork. It is a nice trail bike or starter Enduro bike that climbs really well. The EVO model offers more travel and a slacker head tube angle. Shimano brakes, Sram drivetrain, aluminum frame, wheels, handlebar and crank. Well cared for, only blemishes are from shoe rub on the crank arms. Stock everything minus the dropper post (Specialized Command Post got sticky and needs replacing so the bike has a straight post on it). Message me with any questions.
