Sep 11, 2016Specialized Epic Expert Carbon 29
$2900 USDXL frame, carbon, and carbon cranks. Frame has no damage and carbon fiber has near infinite fatigue life. The bike has been cleaned up everything gone thru at the local bike shop, including truing the wheels and replacing the pivot bearings. I have ridden it long enough to wear out the rear cassette, which I think means 2 or 3 k miles. It has scratches and normal wear and tear for 3 year old bike. I ride a lot but the bike is in good condition with a lot of recently replaced components so it's ready to go without much maintenance in the short term.
All stock and original except the following.
It's set up as 1X drive
XT cassette and chain, with about 50 mi on them
Raceface 32T chain ring, about 50 mi
XT brakes, about 500 mi (Muuuch better than the stock Magura)
New roval replacement rims about 1000 mi ago
New ground control 2.3 tire @ front -- tubeless
Rear tire is Maxxis Icon LUST 2.1 with lots of tread left -- tubeless
New SRAM bottom bracket and headset about 1000 mi ago.
Ritchie stem, shorter with rise. I have the original stem if that preferred. I like being a little further back on the bike and a little more upright.
Fork rebuild about 200 mi ago, stanchions are perfect.
Bike is 6k plus new.
