Great video. Thanks for filming this. I rebuilt this trail back in 2005, connecting a couple existing short trains into a longer stretch that now exist and is shown in this video and the other longer The original idea was to make a single track mtb trail that connected the hiking trail around Penn Lake to the Hawks Ridge trail and make the whole thing bike friendly. Unfortunately I moved away in 2008 and no-one continued with the project. There is also one other very cool DH single track at the old downhill ski facility by the highway that is now just the Tourist Information building. Though I suspect the trail is probably in need of more maintenance then the Penn Lake Descent trail. Maybe someone could take up the cause of maintaining the trails. It would be great to visit Marathon again and check out the trail, maybe do a trail maintenance work party. Happy Trails
