Video: Are 29/27.5" Mullet Bikes Faster Than 29ers?
Uh...no mention of the fact that smaller wheels accelerate faster. Of course they also have a lower top speed...hardly a limit that cab be reached on a bike however.

Point: Suspension Lockout Levers Have Made Bikes Worse
Maybe this is a thing because people are riding the wrong bike? In my area we don't have anything worthy of a downhill bike or a fullsus setup really. I think people, out of a lack of experience and understanding, are all riding heavy ass full sus bikes with lockout levers. I have come to prefer XC for all of my trail riding. If it gets rough I just get light and get on it and move my body. Lots of fun and I'm ready for the climbs in my light hardtail. I have a front fork at 100mm but I lock it out and have come to resent the weight it adds. I'm looking for a XC hardtail with a carbon front fork on my next bike. I might have to build it.

Fasst Company Announces Flexx Handlebar
@slayitlikeabadhabit: The pain hides for about 10 years. Wait until you hit 40. These stupid bars wont help...you just have to learn how to ride.

Fasst Company Announces Flexx Handlebar
I ride locked out and I am starting to loath the extra weight up front. Thinking about a good rigid fork for my XC hardtail but they cost more than a damn Fox.

Fasst Company Announces Flexx Handlebar
Thought about this the other day but dismissed it as impractical and probably of little use. Lo and behold....it appears and for a price that is well....a month's worth of weed. Fuck that.

Video: How Kevin Bacon's Quicksilver Got Me Into Mountain Biking
Been riding for three years after a twenty year break. I realized after finally cracking the code on my bike fit that I need to ride like Im on a BMX. Its in my DNA after growing up during the 80s. I ride a XC hardtail now. My riding really improved when I started thinking of it as a huge BMX bike.

Fuji Tread (Flat bar road/gravel/commuter)

$550 USD
Fuji Tread 1.4 Flat bar road bike Aluminum frame with carbon fiber fork 58cm for larger riders (fit me great at 6'1") FSA and Shimano components Currently equipped with plats (can remove and deduct $50 if you run clipless) Set it up with new Esi grips and bar ends to allow for change of position on longer rides. Rode for several hundred miles and decided to focus on mountain biking and really haven't been using this. Very fun and fast. Could be a great commuter bike. I have extra WTB tires/slicks that go with it. Paid $800 last year, rode the bugs out, tuned it up...ready for loooong rides. Test ride in my nice neighborhood with climbs and descents.
