$4000 USDThis is the ultimate all-weather commuter. The frame is curly maple, wenge, and padauk, with a piano finish consisting of two coats of epoxy and three of linear polyurethane (Imron). Nothing in my experience comes close to the ride quality. Alfine 11 hub with Microshift drop-bar shifter, Gates carbon belt drive, and dynamo lighting, so no external oil or grease. Wheels handbuilt by Sugar Wheel Works with reflective Velocity Aileron rims. This bike is a functional work of art; it was displayed in the Portland Art Museum as part of the Cyclepedia show. I am only selling it because I am moving into independent living, and something has to give.
