This a beautifully made Vintage Lyon and Healy Mandolin in very good condition for its age with some cosmetic wear and tear of a split down the fret, some scratches and scuffs, some rust on the metal tail piece and strings, some strings may be missing and need to be replaced, and a chip in the binding. There is also some slits in the sound hole at 12 o'clock, 3 o'clock, 6 o'clock, and 9 o'clock. metal tail piece is original, pick guard needs cleaning but is in good condition. Tuning and gears may need a little oil but do turn with no problem and with a little TLC and fine tuning this piece can give you more years of enjoyment.
