Semi-matte lacquer - the hand does not stick to it, but it remains smooth.
Composite fingerboard.
Initially, the traditional Peavey poplar was used for the decks on the models. But later models like this one, with active electronics and an extended horn, came with ash or alder.
VFL Plus pickup.
Volume, Treble (from 255 Hz), Bass (up to 96 Hz) knobs. +-12db.
The line was launched in 95 as a competitor to the Fender Precision, positioned as a "quality instrument for working musicians at an affordable price".
