2023 Pinkbike Awards: Product of the Year Winner
The most pathetic part of this award is the pretend assumption from Pinkbike that everybody wants electric shifting. This is how you stick your nose way up SRAM's booty hole: "SRAM’s GX gives you exactly what you want in the new-fangled Transmission (T-type) drivetrain: electronic shifting" Go to hell.

Matt Wragg's 2024 Predictions
If Warmer Bros merges with Paramount the whole rug might be pulled out from under us. Both companies are struggling with advertising revenue and would be looking to make some cuts likely outside of the mainstream offerings.

Matt Wragg's 2024 Predictions
The best solution would be to have e bikes racing against non e bikes and eliminate the climbing stage. Eventually everybody would be on e bikes and it would bring everybody together again.

Matt Wragg's 2024 Predictions
@half-man-half-scab: Plus dry dusty trails that fall apart, everything will become prohibitively expensive, and people will be more preoccupied with things like food and housing. The season might be a little longer but we'll be missing the old seasons pretty quickly.

2023 Pinkbike Awards: Athlete of the Year Nominees
@colinb19: Correct it's completely subjective and completely based entirely upon emotional feelings. Bruni only won the overall because of qualifying points so it should go to Jackson to make up for this and even everything out on an emotional level.

10 Products I Loved in 2023: Henry Quinney
He has awful writing structure, usually terrible takes, and it often comes across as pretentious trolling for clicks. But at least he's not boring.

2023 Pinkbike Awards: Value Product of the Year Nominees
"What a time to be alive." Lmfao, Shimano simply copies Sram's pull ratio 25 years later, finally makes a reliable cassette after 40 years, has a three year delay getting it to market, and Pinkbike writers think it's something special even though it's heavier, not that much more reliable, and can still be ripped off your bike with by a stick or broken chain. From a drivetrain perspective it's a pathetic time to be alive and neither SRAM or Shimano deserve any accolades for recycling and re-marketing this garbage road bike technology over and over again.

RockShox Trek Race Team Disbands, Confirms Rumour That Vali Höll Will Be On New Team for 2024
@fatduke: Another big reason she isn't marketable is that she typically has a sore loser mentality when she doesn't win. She's not a great interview even when she wins, but if she loses she often seems bitter and doesn't congratulate the winner or seem excited for them. My opinions are based upon the year before last, didn't watch her at all this last season. I honestly wonder if anybody bought a Trek cause she was riding one.

2023 Pinkbike Awards: Innovation of the Year Nominees
How is OED a crutch? It was the world's Wikipedia before Wikipedia was invented. It's not perfect but it's still respected and you shouldn't be offended when somebody from Scotland uses it. Not everybody is centered in America. Linkglide is completely overrated. Shimano finally makes a reliable cassette after 40 years of failure and everybody wants to give them an award. Meanwhile the Pinion clearly spells out the end of the derailleur for high performance MTB.
