It Didn't Go As Planned

OK so as per my previous blog, the 17th was the start of my 2016 amateur racing year... well that didn't happen!

So the Monday before the race we (me and the wife) were offered a house to move into which we really couldn't pass up, so the plan was to move in Saturday 16th, me race on the Sunday and then take the Monday off to finish the move... again that didn't happen!

We signed and moved late Saturday which looking at the task of things was larger than it looked so had to call it on the race.. was gutted. Fellow racer Dan wasn't impressed as he had to make the trek himself all the way up to Chopwell which is about 2 hours drive.

Was really gutted to not be able to make it but needs must. Needless to say I still have the race in March booked which unless i can get on another race in the mean time will be my FIRST of 2016!

Bright side i'm heading to Greno near Sheffield this Saturday (23rd Jan) to do some practicing and all round trail riding. Should be fun still getting used to the Norco.

Onward and upwards as they say!
