It seems unusual to me that the mountain bike community has such a dilemma with this question "is it for me or not". It is a case of what you are looking for. If you are younger you are just priced out of this category. So ride a hard tail to make it to your job dreaming about the day you don't have to pedal up hill and get drenched on your way to work. Mountain biking is an athletic sport. E-bike is a motor sport with partial conventional athleticism (Motor sport has a physical element too no doubt) both are a sport but are fundamentally different. It is apples to oranges really, So spray paint an apple orange cover it in a peel call it what you would like but it is and always will be different. Would you have bought a Dirt bike if it was allowed on the trails? If yes get an e-bike. If no get a mountain bike. It really doesn't matter how similar you make them or not they are different things. Please just stop comparing them I am so tired of it.

Can't Wait to see the Huck to Flat! Will the Head tube snap off or maybe the forks will split in two? either way your front wheel is most likely going to end up in your teeth. Love that your pushing the boundaries, don't know till ya try!
