Rachel Atherton: Pursuing Perfection - Video
It was an amazing season for Rachel. Pure unadulterated dominance. She can only beat who's in front of her. But with that being said, like most women sports, the field or fields are insufficiently represented. There is just not enough competition in the aspect of numbers of competitors and not necessarily challengers. The law of averages would dictate challengers and those name would be a merry go round like the elite men's field of competitors. I'll get negged right out of existence for saying that, but unfortunately it is the truth.

Results: Finals - Val di Sole DH World Champs 2016
They cut away from it pretty fast. I waited to hear more, but that never can. Gwin can't buy a break at World's. What is this, like his 3rd straight mechanical? Warner or Claudio kept throwing shade on Greenland's chances of making the top ten let alone the podium. I knew this dude was on the podium after seeing the gap he laid down on split 2 and no one was coming close.

@ novajustin, it's called implied implication: An implication that leads the reader or listener to draw a conclusion about something that has not been specifically stated. This is a common practice used to cover up racist rants and deflect true intent. I am not saying that is you, but rather the a average pun that a vast majority of whites do subconsciously without malice daily. It is only "wishful believing" that you think you would say that about anyone, but this is me generalizing.

@ novajustin. "i don't see any privileges that aren't afforded to people of other races who do exactly what i do, work their ass off. so get the f*ck out of here with your white privilege bs." 1. You are not speaking of other races, but of a black person. 2. The comment above is a direct element or correlation of "white privilege", in brief, it is a belief among whites that privilege is afforded to all because it is afforded to them, and that belief supersedes true realities/statistics. If you want to learn something and help end this cycle of conditioning read a book, maybe White Like Me: Reflections on Race from a Privileged Son or The New Jim Crow.

WOW...White privilege at its finest. I have never read a comment like this about any white person featured in a edit for enjoying and love to ride bikes. The next time some of you guys look in the mirror (you know who you are) you look at the face of what racial oppression is today. I will leave you with a quote, however white privilege will probably prevent you from understanding even though pinkbike poll list a majority of the forum are college graduates, but never the less. “In America, we are culturally conditioned to believe that (anything) Black is inferior and white is superior. And the manifestation of that cultural conditioning is that blacks are underestimated, undervalued and marginalized in every aspect of life. At it’s core, I think this is the essence of racism today". - Joe Madison
