I built this bike to go to the mountains with my son but I prefer single speed. It has zero rides on the fresh build with well over $1k in NEW parts. The frame is not new and was my backup single speed before I disassembled it and converted it to 27.5 and gears. I rode the bike for 30 seconds in my backyard and decided I'd rather just gear for the mountains than shift. Don't judge me. They need a bleed but I'll even include the bleed kit if that's what you want. *** Pedals not included. Basically, you have almost all new parts on a frame that was my backup. I love the frame and the way it rode but it's just going to sit with all those shifty bits on it now. I'm open to shipping as long as the buyer pays the actual amount.

I love this bike but I'm selling some stuff to generate cash for another project. It's super fast and a ton of fun. It was my go to bike all summer. I have a 29er SS as well. I have been running it singlespeed but a RaceFace XO 9 speed drivetrain and shifters is included as well (see pics). You also get all the singlespeed stuff including a like new Surly Chainring and Paul Melvin Tensioner. Or, just let me know and I'll strip those off and include just the shifty bits. This is the Superlight 3 , 26" model that was manufactured from 2007-2013. I don't know the exact year of this one. I've used them on all my bikes for over a decade on more than that many bikes. If you don't like or want them, I probably have some more traditional bars in my stash of stuff. Trust me, 26" isn't dead. Take a ride and you'll understand. The only reason I'm selling this instead of my 29er is that I stand to lose a lot more on the 29er. I like them both. I have been SS only since 2003, 29er only from 2006-2018, then back on a 26er this past year and a half. It's a fast accelerating and playful bike that should serve someone well. Erik
