I agree, their returns are generous. Good customer service can be biting the bullet on the costs of cannondale returns, as with the returns of any product REI sells. But REI donated like $8M to state and national parks last year and annually before so they have some deep pockets to pull from. The individual stores are who suffer from returns since it comes out of their budget @rrolly:

Unlikely in the near future, Cannondale prefers to service their own lefties. But there may be certain REIs that do like their larger stores in Seattle or Denver for example
